Amy Vainieri is a graphic designer with over ten years of experience in both digital and print. Her career has focused on designing for non-profit, advocacy, and government clients—including Peace Corps, United Way Worldwide, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, People For the American Way, and Doctors Without Borders. She also held a Fellowship in the Oregon Elections Divisions redesigning election materials for a more improved user experience, and is an advocate for election design reform. Amy has become an advocate for atomic design, with speaking engagements about the topic at the O’Reilly Design Conference and DrupalCon in 2017. She holds a Master’s degree in Graphic Design from SCAD-Atlanta as well as a Bachelor’s from Emory University.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys watching baseball, listening to podcasts, volunteering at local animal shelters, sewing clothes, and getting outside to hike whenever possible.
