A transformative overhaul.

As the world’s oldest and largest organization representing franchising worldwide, the International Franchise Association (IFA) is the prominent voice and leader for franchisors, franchisees, suppliers, and industry advocates. We worked with IFA and took a strategic approach to information architecture (IA) that ensured we left no stone unturned when it came to addressing the needs of all their audiences. This gave us a strong foundation and allowed us to create visual designs  that truly moved the needle for IFA.

Optimizing from start to finish.

After our Discovery process illuminated the need for major copy improvements, we collaborated with IFA to strategize for a major copywriting effort. We carried out a tone and voice audit before agreeing on a ‘Team Coach’ persona to guide us through the process. Taoti’s copywriting team created content briefs for designated pages according to each page’s URL, goals, format and the corresponding calls-to-action. We made sure the copy was optimized for SEO with meticulous attention paid to primary, secondary and supplementary keywords.

Taking information from complicated to digestible.

When an organization like IFA serves many audiences and transcends many business industries, the presentation of information in an engaging way brings its challenges. We created an online search tool – Find a Franchise – that serves major franchise corporations and the local small business owners who run the franchises. It was crucial that we crafted a search tool that was comprehensive, dynamic, attractive, interactive, and fun to use.
