Drupal can do more than support visually stunning websites. With the right customization, it can do nearly anything you ever wanted of a website! And if you’re managing a Drupal site now, there’s a chance that some of your website’s inherent customizations have left you with questions or frustrations that keep you from using the content management system to its fullest potential.

That’s why we’re putting our expert Drupal development team at your service and hosting a series of hands-on workshops specifically for site managers and content administrators to learn best practices that will keep their subject matter experts happy while getting the most out of Drupal as a CMS.

There will be four workshops in our Dupont Circle-area office every other Wednesday, starting May 21st, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. (bagels and coffee will be provided, of course!) While it is not necessary to attend all four workshops, there is a 25% discount should you choose to register for all of them.

The four workshops are as follows:

  1. (May 21) Know your Nodes: Advanced Content Creation in Drupal
  2. (June 4) Putting Content in Its Place: Drupal Blocks & Context
  3. (June 18) Unlocking the Power of Drupal Views
  4. (July 2) Keeping Drupal Healthy

Each of these workshops will be conducted by two of Taoti’s senior developers, including Sarah and Tim.

Meet Sarah: Sarah is a senior developer at Taoti. She is a University of Maryland graduate with a BA in Japanese language and literature. Sarah is a multi-talented front-end developer specializing in Drupal theming, site building and module development. With a background in commercial print publishing and design, she brings a well-rounded skill set to Taoti’s team. Sarah’s command of CSS, jQuery, and the Japanese language make her a triple threat to coders and ninjas alike. Outside the office—and sometimes inside—Sarah enjoys all things zombie related, comics, video games and drawing.

Meet Tim: Tim is also a senior developer here at Taoti. Tim graduated cum laude from Harvard with a degree in Latin and received his Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law with a concentration in Intellectual Property. Despite detours in coaching crew and law school, he’s always had his hand in some sort of web-related software development. Tim has 13+ years’ experience in web application development and technology team management. He has been deploying websites professionally using Drupal since 2005, when he launched the first U.S. Senate website to use the CMS. Since then he has used Drupal in his work with clients including the U.S. House of Representatives, World Resources Institute, World Bank. But it doesn’t end there. Tim taught courses in multilingual Drupal installation in the Middle East (Ramallah, to be exact) and has presented at Drupalcon Boston. Tim likes to ride his bike and is teaching his son the finer points of cheering for Philadelphia sports teams. We looking forward to seeing you there and helping you to make the most of your Drupal site!
