The Taoti Team

Brent Lightner

Brent

Brent is our founder and creative director. He started Taoti back in ‘96 and has assumed every role from janitor to CFO. These days, he still wears a lot of hats, but most of his time is spent really coming up with ideas and innovations that are the crux of our solutions. And driving the design team nuts.

David Hanna

David

David is our main man for keeping the train on the tracks when it comes to project management. A certified Scrum Master (yeah, that’s a real thing), he’s the whip-cracking Brit with the stiff upper lip that walks around the office lighting fires under everyone to make sure clients never have to.

Kevin Nelson

Kevin

Kevin is the kind of hardcore programmer that measures his manhood by how many cores his computer has and how few lines of code in which he can write an application. He recently had twin sons and gave the youngest the middle name of ‘Coder’ (yes, really). Kevin likes to say that his coding saves lives, which is true: the kidney-matching software that he developed has saved over 400 lives so far. That’s a pretty cool stat for a programmer.

Jason Wasser

Jason

Jason is one of our production and programming work horses that we task with anything and everything that comes down the line. From client maintenance to Drupal builds, Jason is the unsung hero that does a lot of the grunt work. He can plow through just about anything. And because of that, we call him The Beast.

Bruce Fulton

Bruce

On his own time, Bruce (one of our Drupal developers) once spent a whole weekend writing a 20-page report (complete with charts) as to how a project got a little behind schedule. That’s how serious he is about making sure we meet client expectations. You go, Bruce!

Sam Harper

Sam

Sam is one of our business development consultants (ie, sales guys.) But to call Sam a sales guy isn’t nearly doing him justice. Sam’s real job is to see through the surface of what a client thinks he needs, and really addresses that ‘need behind the need.’ By the time Sam has had a sit down with a potential client, that client is usually re-writing their RFP so that the objectives address core needs that will have organizational impact, and not just 'we want a pretty new website.'

Simon Brandon

Si

You know how most websites read like every other website… mission statements, why you should hire us, and other lame pages? And then you come across a site that has attitude and personality. It speaks to you. The images support the copy and aren’t just generic stock images. The text feels like a good friend talking to you—not an annual report. Si is the difference between a ‘blah’ site and a site that has passion and prose.

Alicia

Alicia

Designer extraordinaire! Alicia is the girl that takes all the stuff we put on the whiteboard, and brings it to life in Photoshop. And when you ask for something to be "8 pixels to the right," Alicia is the one that curses your name.

We're hiring!

We pay well, have great benefits, a cool office, go boating on Fridays, do happy hours together, and generally are out to have a good time doing what we love to do. And we could use some more like-minded people to join the team. If you’ve got the chops, drop us a line. We’re always hiring if you’re the right fit. You can also check out our current job postings.
