Taoti is a digital agency and a cool place to work! Part of being cool is not needing to say you’re cool. Coolness comes from knowing that other people can just sense it. We get that. However, we’ve been nominated as DC’s Coolest Company for DC Inno’s 2017 DC Fest, so we’re going to shout it from the highest rooftop… or, at least from our awesome roof deck.
Several weeks ago I started a new journey. I left my safe, comfortable position with an agency in Hagerstown, Maryland to join the team at Taoti Creative in Washington, DC.
I learned of Taoti from a former co-worker a few years ago. When I decided to look for work in the D.C. area, I recalled my friend’s recommendation of Taoti as a great place to work. I visited Taoti.com and learned about Taoti’s work and culture, as well as the open position for a Project Manager – to which I applied.
We are proud to announce the newest addition to the Taoti team, David Morrison. Dave is a senior-level web developer and a Drupal dynamo with plenty of expertise in other web technologies honed over his 20 year career. His previous co-workers say he’s “detail-oriented, technically savvy beyond what is normally expected of a web developer.” He’ll be joining our all-star dev team to help lead and handle any projects we send his way. He comes to us from New Target, Inc, where he spearheaded great work for The Administrative Offices of the U.S. Courts. He’s a DC local, a Terp, and an avid bass player. We can’t wait to groove with him.
Taoti is located in the shadow of the US Capitol building. Space is limited around here, so our office is small and humble. But we painted it our trademark orange so that we’d feel at home. And we do. Here are some random shots of the team in their naturual habitat. DISCLAIMER: pictures of everyone being dialed in and working diligently (as we normally do) are boring. So the only time someone snaps a photo is when we’re having some fun and blowing off some steam. Please don’t let the fact that the following photo essay shows our lighter side lead you to believe that we’re anything but a hard-working team! 😉
