Bree has a B.A. in Art History and Museum Studies and began her professional career in web development in 2009, managing the website of the National Museum of Women in the Arts. She helped lead the museum through a redesign and migration to Drupal, and shortly thereafter received her Certificate in Web Development from the Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University. From there she moved to the Office of Management and Budget in the Executive Office of the President as a contractor, where she worked on multiple internal web applications and spent her days joyfully writing modules and custom coding her own drush commands. The rest, as they say, is history. She finds PHP endlessly fun, SQL queries deeply satisfying, and considers Drupal her very best frenemy.
Beyond the 9-to-5, Bree enjoys traveling to far-off (and nearby) lands, adventurous eating, whimsy, long lazy days at beaches and wineries, weird horror movies and summertime blockbusters, figure drawing, tea parties, and coveting other people’s pets (especially really really ugly dogs).
